If you are looking to clean your office yourself, these are the top 5 things you can do to keep your office clean in order to ensure and increase productivity. Or if you want someone to do the dirty work for you contact Clean Rite

Clean your phones!

Phones are a cesspool of germs. When your employees get sick, productivity declines. If they continue to do so, it becomes an even bigger problem. Cleaning your phones daily with an anti-bacterial wipe is the number one way to ensure phones are germ free and your employees are healthy enough to produce.

Get rid of that smell

Floors and carpets that are not properly cleaned will absorb bad smells. It’s proven that certain smells, such as orange, increase energy and productivity. Working In an environment that doesn’t smell good is a factor that declines worker morale. Cleaning and shampooing your carpets will guarantee this problem is corrected. You can hire  a carpet cleaner like Clean Rite  and risk the chance of harbouring mould under the damp carpets, or you can call a commercial cleaning service who may be better equipped to handle that kind of situation.

Keep desks dust free

Dust carries many many allergies which cause a lot of people to get sick. Not to mention, working in a dirty space declines staff morale. Dusting your commercial space, as well as all of the desks every night is very important. It;s also important to move all the supplies off a desk and wipe the desks once a week.

Sweep that floor

Working in an office space that is cluttered or dirty does not help increase productivity. On the contrary, it decreases productivity. It is also something that may turn off prospect customers. Sweeping floors every night is imperative to having a clean and put-together office. First appearances are very important and if a customer sees a dirty floor, they may not trust your product or service

Empty the rubbish bins

Full rubbish bins attract little pest and critters. Especially rubbish bins full of snack and lunch wrappers. Emptying the trash daily is very important when it comes to maintaining the productivity in an office. An employee working in an area that smells like a garbage bin won’t be as focused and productive as one working in an office with fresh air. Not to mention these little critters carry contaminants that may make you and your employees sick.
As a commercial business owner having to do all this extra work is very time consuming, and cuts into your own productivity. Companies like Clean Rite Cleaning Service, a company who service's clients all across New Zealand and  specialized in providing all the commercial cleaning services any industry may need. WHY CLEANING FREE OF CHEMICAL IS THE WAY TO GO?

WHY CLEANING FREE OF CHEMICAL IS THE WAY TO GO?

The Market ..

When it comes to house cleaning, product manufacturers compete with imagination. They try to catch your attention with the packaging, the colour, the fragrance, the price or the “AMAZING” last generation of molecule that will clean everything. Also you have heaps of products for each area in the house. For example, in the shower you have a product for the tiles, for the grout of the tiles, for the glass shower, for the chrome, for the plug holes etc. For any part of the house you will find at least 10 different products. You can lose your mind there, No ?

The Risk for your Health
Cleaning chemicals are not that safe. First, environmental experts state that the average household contains a minimum of 62 toxic chemicals. Exposed to them routinely, and we may face mild symptoms like skin irritation and itchy eyes, or other major symptoms. , there’s no regulation of what goes into, say, our oven cleaner`` As senior scientist at the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Rebecca Sutton, PhD, says, “In terms of household cleaners, neither ingredients nor products must meet any sort of safety standard, nor is any testing data or notification required before bringing a product to market.” Is it any wonder, then, that some products include warning labels that say “may be hazardous to humans and pets?” extract from dr Stellsmith. According to a study out of Norway University of Bergen, regular use of cleaning sprays was shown to be on par with smoking 20 cigarettes per day, with scientists from the study determining that commercial products “may constitute a risk to respiratory health, not only in terms of asthma, but also in terms of long-term impact on lung function decline.” The National Institute of health in USA, supports this, stating that cleaning products “contain a multitude of chemical substances with known health effects” in terms of the skin (such as rashes and burns) and the respiratory tract (e.g.: breathing problems.) The Cleveland Clinic adds to this as well, pointing out that if, for example, a child ingested laundry detergent (which is responsible for “many household poisonings from accidental swallowing”), they could experience “nausea, vomiting, shock, convulsions and coma.” Sound terrifying? It is.
